Landscape

This is part of the hood of one of Austin's art cars, heavily decorated cars, usually old, that function as transportation and works of art.

I photographed this in September 2009.  The decorations may have changed by now.

  3. Denise, it's definitely weird, but also very charming. And the little figures and jewels and patterns--they are wonderful!

The entire car is encrusted with ornaments.

  5. PA, it's all silver and gold and touches of blue stones and pearls, with figures, especially horses, arrayed on different sections of the car. The grille, not shown in my photo, is amazing.
