Photographed this morning.
Snow is gone and the temperature is up. The tree is what is called a cedar in Texas, but is really a juniper.

Two Birds In A Tree
I photographed these birds yesterday.
It's been very cold these last couple of days (in the 20s, F). The birds have been hanging out around the birdfeeders, eating and eating and eating.

Doe In Morning Light
Photographed last week, in the morning.
This doe, who looks like she's smiling, stopped to listen to me sing Mairsy Doats.

Certified Wildlife Habitat
Here's a close up of a "cedar" tree in my yard. (It's been explained to me, more than once, that it's not a true cedar, but is called one here in central Texas.)
As the sign proclaims, there's food, water, cover and places to raise young here. More photos of this "habitat" in autumn later.
