Rainy Morning Bird

Photographed this morning. 

It's raining gently, and the birds are still showing up at the feeder.

This little bird posed obligingly on a rock.

Doe in the Front Yard

It's dangerous out there:  mating season for deers is also collision season for drivers.

You can see some of the rock that is prevalent in the area.

The strange wires in the photo are just that:  part of Rube Goldberg-esque contraptions to raise and lower the bird feeders, mainly.
